Your mission...stage a secret birthday bash at an undisclosed location.

Inform your guests of the objective with dossiers for the themed

occasion.

  • Using white paper watermarked with 'Top Secret' print out directives straight from MI-6 (British Military Intelligence).
  • Paper clip the dossiers along with a photo of the 'target', a map and a cover letter into a manila folder marked 'Confidential.'
  • The

cover letter should include any important details about the mission

including date, time (in military time) location (in longitude &

latitude coordinates) and costume. Direct your guests to come disguised

as either an agent, villian, henchman or Bond girl.
  • Direct each guest to RSVP to Ms. Monneypenny, the MI-6 secretary.

Menu:

Casino Themed 40th or 50th Birthday Party: Decorations
You don't need a licence, to throw a killer birthday. Thrill your

guests by staging a high-stakes poker game as inspired by Casino

Royale. Here's how to stack the deck.

The gilded casinos of Monaco are a high-rollers paradise. Think velvet

ropes, cigar smoke filled rooms, baccarat, baguettes and a few Ferraris

in the valet lot.

  • Set the scene with a luxe color palette of deep reds, emerald green, black, gold and white.
  • For an authentic look, impress your guests by renting a professional poker table.
  • Section off the space with a velvet rope and arrange your furniture in clusters to give the room a clubby feel.
  • Make sure to have plenty of cards, chips and poker accessories on hand.
  • Create a 00 themed playlist with themes from the movies.
  • For an extra touch, consider renting a baccart shoe. It's one of the most

simple casino games so the non-card sharks in the crowd can get in on

the action. Plus, little strategy is required so after a few martinis

    you won't lose your shirt.
Speaking of drinks, check out our advice for setting up a shaken not stirred martini bar.
