Looking for a magical way to celebrate your daughter's birthday this summer? How about hosting a Fairy Tea Party?
We invited a few of my daughter's closest friends to join us for "Fairy Tea." I had so much fun decorating the table and our yard. I used lots of white tulle and pastel colored ribbons along with fairy wings.

Cake or Cupcakes
- Whatever your preference, use a simple vanilla mix to make either a cake or cupcakes. Then decorate with pastel trimming and Wilton's sparkle dust.
- Add drama by placing the cake on pedestal dish wrapped in a bed of tulle and ribbon. Or, go to the local craft store, pick up some pretty plasticbutterflies and place those on the cake.
- Serve cake in matching style by tying the serving spoon with ribbon.
Menu
- Create mini tea sandwiches in kid favorites like peanut butter and jelly! Simply use cookie cutters to make the desired shape.
- The girls may not yet appreciate flavored warm teas so substitute with refreshing iced teas and juices.

- Place shreds of pastel paper in clear cello bags and then put a rubber band around the top.
- Trim the edges with pinking shears, add some tulle and pastel ribbons and fluffed out the top of the cello bag.
The great thing I found about this party was the tulle and ribbons were very inexpensive and can be re-used. My daughter was able to keep the Fairy Kelissa poster and that along with the extra Fairy wings that we used for decor, now hang in her room!
Although you can find beautiful ways of creating your own fairy tea party, I found that the products from Fairy Line were easy, beautiful and unique.

We recommend having 1-5 or 6-10 guests.

- Hang fairy wings around the party area with fishing line to let the breeze create a magical setting.
- Cover the tables with plain tablecloths and sprinkle flower petals and glitter across the top.
- Fairy wands are perfect favors, but can also double as a table centerpiece. Simply place them in a glass vase with pink glassmarbles at the bottom, then, wrap the vase with some tulle and ribbons that match the color scheme.
- At each chair, place a white tea cup and sauceralong with a halo for each girl and all the coordinating party tableware.
- Dress up plain white resin outdoor chairs, by tieing tulle to theback of them with assorted ribbons. Then, clip each one with aglittery butterfly or dragon fly pin that you can find at the local craft store.

- Have each of the girls play the part of one of the fairies from the party kit. Make sure to give them their own wings, wands and halos!
- Later, the girls can play Fairy Bingo and Pin the Wings on Fairy Kelissa, both of which come in the DIY party kits.
