While the big kids (a.k.a. husbands, football fans, sporty gals) are rooting for their favorite team, eating spicy food, and shushing people during those million dollar commercials, the little kids will need a game or two to keep them occupied during your Super Bowl party.
Set up a variety of games and activities that appeal to all kinds of kids--from the budding quarterbacks to the artsy types--to keep them entertained so everyone can have a good time.

DIY Football Toss
Set up a football toss for indoor fun in colder parts of the country or outdoors where the sun is shining.
Indoor Toss
- Clear out the furniture and breakables in the most spacious room of your home that is out of the way of those watching the game on TV.
- Hang a goal post of team color streamers from the ceiling using Sticky Tack or tape. Put the streamer posts close enough together to make the game challenging.
- Compete to see who can toss a soft football through without touching the streamers.
Outdoor Toss
- Hang a hula-hoop from a tree using team color ribbon.
- Stand a good distance away from the hoop and toss a football through without hitting the hula-hoop.
Football Games to Buy
For a more pro toss game, check these out. Look for games with your favorite team's logo on the same website where these games are sold:

- Set up the camp in the largest room or most convenient area of your home that is away from the main party space.
- Clear the furniture out of the "camp room." Put some furniture in the TV room for more seating or temporarily store it in the garage.
- Outfit the room with a TV to watch cheerleading videos and music player so the babysitter/instructor can teach the girls some cool moves. Don't forget the pom-poms!

- Organize the fun by asking friends to bring along their WII remotes so a lot of kids can play. If you don't own a WII console, borrow one for the party.
- Rent games that the kids will like and allow for multiple players. Get a few options for all the gaming systems that you have in your home.
- For more ideas, check out my Wii Party article.

- Purchase adhesive foam shapes such as letters so kids can spell their names and sport items.
- Look for foam visors or door hangers that the kids can decorate with the shapes.
- Put out paper and crayons for the kids to use and create a fun foam shape collage as well.
