Preparation
- Supplies:
- One pink, blue, green, red, and yellow balloon
- Approx. 9 sheets White, 3 black, 1 red, 2 blue sheets of paper
- Gluestick
- Thick black sharpie
Get a pink, blue, green, red, and yellow balloon to represent each of the Yo Gabba Gabba! characters. Next, you have to get your creative juices flowing. Get pieces of lightweight white paper and cut out eight ovals and one big circle (preferably two ovals per sheet of paper) - these will be the eyes to the characters.
General Directions:
- Get your character's colored balloon. (ex. Pink for Foofa, Yellow for Plex, Blue for Toodee, Red for Muno, and Green for Brobee)
- Put the two ovals on the balloon to act as eyes, slant them so that the top of each oval is pointing towards the center of the balloon.
- Use a black sharpie to color in circular eyeballs.
Steps
- Brobee
--Cut out Brobee’s mouth with your red piece of paper, using the entire length of the (8.5” x 11”) paper for this.
--In the center of his mouth, use a sharpie to color in the mouth opening.
--Take black paper (8.5” x 11”) and cut it lengthwise at about 1/3 of the way for Brobee’s unibrow.
--Glue all parts onto the balloon. - Foofa
--Take a red piece of paper and cut out a little crescent shape for her mouth.
--Take a pink piece of paper and make a pink flower for her head.
--Glue all parts on the balloon.
--Use a sharpie to draw her eyelashes. - Toodee
--Using a black piece of paper, cut out a small oval for a nose.
--Take a WHITE piece of paper and cut a small crescent for a mouth.
--With a sharpie, draw two triangles for Toodee’s teeth, and fill in the rest with sharpie ink.
--Use a blue piece of paper to cut out Toodee’s sideburns. First, cut out a half-circle then add jagged lines. - Muno
--Take your big white circle and color in a pupil for Muno.
--Take a white piece of paper and cut out a long crescent for a mouth.
--With a sharpie draw two triangles for Toodee’s teeth, fill the rest with sharpie ink. - Plex
--Get a piece of black paper, trim it into a stout rectangle (almost square-like) that’s big enough to fit both his eyes.
--Gluestick his eyes on top of the rectangle.
No kids' party is complete without games. These games listed are inspired by the show and encourage kids to be active and work together.
- "Dancey-Dance"-Off - While we're hoping the kids will be dancing the entire time, give them a moment in the spotlight by making a circle of party guests and having the kids go in the center one-by-one announcing themselves, "My name is ____ and I like to dance!"
- Plex Says (dance version) - Play the traditional "Simon Says" as you know it, but order the kids to do Yo Gabba Gabba! dance moves like the disco, the robot...of course, show them how Plex the robot would perform these dance moves.
- Pin The Eye on the Muno
Muno is an adorable character, with only one eye.
---Use red construction paper and draw/cut-out the shape of Muno's head.
---Take black construction paper and cut out a crescent shape for the mouth.
---Cut out two white triangles for teeth
---Glue the triangles on the black mouth.
---Cut out several white circles and smaller black circles for eyes. ---Be sure to make enough eyes for all the kids.
---Blindfold the kids and try to get them to pin the eye right in the middle of Muno's face. - Feed Brobee's Tummy Toss - Brobee loves to eat! In fact, one Brobee's most popular songs is called, "Party In My Tummy." Celebrate the party in Brobee's tummy by playing "Toss The Food In Brobee's Mouth." Under "Preparation" we give you two ways to do it.
Preparation
- Brobee Tummy Toss (made with a paper toy)
- Print and Assemble cut-out paper toy of Brobee
- Place paper toy Brobee on chair.
- Place a basket in front of paper Brobee.
- Have the kids try to throw as many bean bags as they can inside the basket.
- Make a pinata of Brobee with these amazing instructions.
- Use our modification: In the head, instead of pasting on Brobee's mouth, cut out a big oval for his mouth instead. (Make sure the oval is large enough to throw in some bean bags)
- Line the oval mouth with red paper.
- When the directions say to cut an opening at the top, cut an opening at the bottom too for easy gathering of the bean bags.
- (In case you don't want to play Feed Brobee, you can simply make a fabulous pinata!)
Brobee Tummy Toss (made with a piñata)

You can easily make bean bags with extra fabric, dried beans and a needle and thread. Enjoy!
