A Glowing Summer Cocktail Party

We like to think any night during the summer is suitable for happy hour, which is why we put together this super easy cocktail party! We found an invitation for our event from Pear Tree Greetings and planned the entire get-together around the design - from the signature cocktails to the decor everything about this party was inspired by the glowing orange and yellow lanterns on the dark backdrop.

This summer cocktail party was all about keeping things cool, calm and relaxed. We didn't want to do to much work to create a party atmosphere, so instead, we opted to work with these printables designed with our party invitation from Pear Tree in mind.

We kept decorations all about light so, to dress up these dollar store pillar candles, we wrapped a themed embellishment around them. You could easily use these for vases, too!

Not only do these cocktail cards look great, they're also perfect for giving to guests as a favor. They can take the recipes for our drinks home with them to enjoy all summer long!

In an effort to keep hosting duties to a minimum (so we could enjoy our company), we placed a menu card near our cocktails so guests would know the names of each. Not only was this super helpful, the menu added to the look of the party too - each card organized the space and added thematic touches throughout.
