Fabulous Flower Arranging on a Budget

More Party Ideas

Flowers bring vibrancy to any table and can be an integral part of many celebrations, depending on which flowers you choose and how you present them.

While flowers are beautiful and can add elegance to your hosting space, they tend to be one of the first items we nix off the list as our party expenses mount up (barring wedding celebrations, of course.).

With a little creativity, a couple of cheap, grocery store-bought bouquets, and a few added accessories (many of which you can find around the house), you can put together gorgeous, kitschy, or casual arrangements for half the cost of hiring a florist. The trick to saving money on flowers is investing a little more time and effort. The care you put into the arrangement is the secret that makes your bouquet look pricier than it really is.

Your finished product will be beautiful, unique, and shouldn't have broken the bank, especially if you find flower bouquets for ten dollars or less, and can find accessories from around your home. Just as my friend loved her colorful pitcher of roses, I loved finding the pieces and arranging them for her. Ultimately, this project should be even more fun for you than it is for the guests or recipients who get to enjoy looking at your lovely arrangements.
