Bridal Shower Ice Breaker Game: 2 Truths and a Lie

Steps
  • In Word or Publisher, create a document that has room for a guest's name and three interesting facts. Number this area 1 through 3.

  • Have each guest pick up one sheet when they arrive and ask them to fill in the three spots with two truths about herself and one tidbit that isn't true.

  • Then, have each guest read his or her "facts" out loud while others guess which is the lie.

  • Hint: Often, the weirdest facts are the ones that end up being true!

Bridal Shower Icebreaker Game: First Kiss
Whether it was good, bad or ugly, we all remember our first kiss. Rehash the memories with this funny game

Steps
  • Have guests write down a brief description of their first kiss.

  • Put each description in front of a jar and ask other guests to place a piece of paper into the jar with the person's name they think the memory belongs to.

  • OR, Go around the circle of guests and ask each person to read his or her memory out loud.

Bridal Shower Game for Everyone: Wedding Scavenger Hunt

Steps
  • Create a list of wedding-related items for the guests to hunt down.

  • Fun ideas include: something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, a tie, cufflinks, flowers, something to use as a veil, and a garter.

Bridal Shower Game for the Bride: 20 Questions
For this game, the bride is in the spotlight. Test her on how well she knows her future husband.

Steps
  • Before the shower, the maid of honor should have the groom answer 20 questions about himself and the couple's relationship. Think along the lines of, "What is your favorite movie of all time? Favorite meal? First time you knew you loved her?" etc.

  • Stand the bride up in front of the room and quiz her on how well she knows her fiancé.

  • For each question she gets wrong, she must take a piece of gum and chew it; adding one piece to the growing wad for every wrong answer. Soon she'll hardly be able to talk with a mouth full of gum!

Bridal Shower Game for the Bride: Favorite Memories
This game ranges from downright hysterical to tear-jerkingly sentimental, depending on the stories. It also helps everyone get to know the bride and groom better!

Steps
  • With the shower invite, ask everyone to email one bridesmaid their favorite memory of the bride or groom.

  • Print out the memories and cut them into strips; make sure they are anonymous and don't have the sender's name on it.

  • Read each one out loud to the bride and have her guess which guest sent what memory.

  • At the end, present the bride with a nice booklet that has all the memories written or printed out and pasted in neatly.
