- Buy glass mason jars; one for each guest.
- Measure out how much of each ingredient the recipe calls for, and add them into the jar one at a time, creating distinct layers of flour, sugar, etc.
- Spray paint the jar tops all one color for a pretty, uniform look and allow to dry for a day.
- Put the jar tops on an attach a ribbon around the jar neck with a tag that reads, "Recipe for Love". You can also tie a heart-shaped cookie cutter on as well.
- Include additional baking instructions either on the back of the tag, or print it out on pretty sticky-back labels and center them on the jar itself.
