Halloween is not just for the kids - in fact we love the idea of creating a ladies night Halloween cocktail party with a gothic-glam twist.

Our entire party was put together using the Round and Round the Skulls Halloween invitations from Pear Tree Greetings we sent out as inspiration. It gave us the perfect icon to use as a motif in our decor that was just as glam as it was spooky.
One of the first design elements on Pear Tree's Halloween invitation we were drawn to was the unique circle shape. This is the kind of invitation that grabs your attention when you open your mail and will make sure guests RSVP "yes"!

We wanted to get the ladies together for a night of frightful fun just for them before the chaos of last-minute costume prep, candy shopping, Halloween decorating and trick-or-treat to-do's came rushing up.
The skull image is iconic in both Halloween and the Gothic world so we decided to design a Gothic-Glam ladies night cocktail party for our friends.

The invitations have a bit of a lacy look around the edge so we incorporated lace fabric into the table with a simple overlay. The rest of our Gothic Glam look is achieved by using dark colors and some blingy embellishments from the craft store. Our reoccurring skull and skeleton motif can be found in our table decor, appetizers, dessert, and party favors. This ladies' night will be a frightfully good time!

It's always a nice gesture to send your guests home with a small favor that lets them know you appreciate their company at your Halloween party.
Our favors were inspired by the skull invitations from Pear Tree Greeting's Round and Round the Skulls invitation. We gave them a gothic glam twist to match the rest our girl's only Halloween cocktail party.
We created these adorable take home favors for guests using coffin shaped boxes and a skeleton candy mold from the craft store. It's a simple project to do but is a great last impression of the night.
We used white chocolate, of course, to make our candy skeletons in the mold. The coffin boxes come flat in the package and have to be folded and secured into place, which is easy to do. The base inside is purple Sixlet candies to add a pop of our color. The white chocolate skeletons are then placed on top of the Sixlets and the favors are ready to go.
Other items you could use as the base are coffee beans, shredded colored paper, or candy coated sunflower seeds.
