Perfect Pear Engagement Party Theme

We love the idea of celebrating friends or family's upcoming nuptials with an engagement party.

This can be a great time for everyone to meet for the first time in a more casual setting, and share in the joy that is upon the happy couple.

The gorgeous colors helped inspire the look of our party and the play on words let us get super creative with the food, cocktails, favors and decorations.

Though the invitation we chose incorporates more pinkish hues, we opted to play up a darker shade of lavendar in our color scheme to incorporate our bride's colors. The versatility of this invitation and it's lovely pear design really work so well with customizing the party without losing the foundation it creates for a theme.

We love this theme for a summer or fall party - and it doesn't necessarily have to tie completely into the theme of the wedding. Engagement parties are a precursor, but a more casual celebration of the couple as individuals and a whole.
