Make an apple plate with an attached honey dish, perfect for guests at your Rosh Hashanah dinner.
Directions

- Two transparent plastic plates
- One plastic cup
- Permanent markers
- Super Glue
- White glue stick
- Construction paper
- Scissors
- Cut out shapes using construction paper and scissors. Some shape ideas are: Apples, Shofar, Star of David
- With permanent marker write "Have a Sweet New Year" or "L'Shana Tova" on the plate
- Using the glue stick paste down the cut-out shapes on one of the clear plastic plates.
- Run a line of super glue around the rim of the clear plastic plate and affix the second plate to the top of the first to seal in the decorations.
- For the cup, decorate the outside using cut-out shapes. The word honey in Hebrew is "D'vash" and this can be written on the cup in permanent marker.
- Glue the bottom of the cup to the center of the plate and let dry.
- In just a few short hours your apples and honey plate will be ready for serving!

- Oatmeal canister, cocoa box or coffee can -- emptied and cleaned out, with lid
- Scissors
- Colored paper
- Double-sided tape
- Markers, crayons, stickers, etc. for decorating
- Have an adult cut a slit in the top of the plastic lid, large enough for quarters to fit through.
- Cut a piece of paper that will fit around the canister. Decorate it with markers, crayons, stickers, etc.
- Using double-sided tape, attach the paper to the canister.
- Place the lid on top and start saving your pennies for tzedakah.

A fun toy to make and play with for all the Jewish holidays.
Directions
Materials:- 3 pantyhose legs
- Tissue or Polyfill stuffing
- 4 x 8 inch piece of dark material (an old brown or black sock)
- Stuff each pantyhose leg with tissue or polyfill.
- Take one end and tie all three together.
- Braid them and coil them into a circle, tucking the ends in.
- Cut the dark socks into eight strips. Poke them into the folds so they look like raisins, you can sew or glue them into place.
