After the long months of winter make their exit I'm ready to celebrate. Not being a winter person, I whine and complain every year to whoever will listen about how terrible January, February and March are and how I can't wait for April to poke it's pretty little head into my life.
Birds chirping, new green leaves sprouting and comfortable temps - I'm happy again! Spring is my favorite season. It's just gives me so much to smile about.
While there will be plenty of celebrating the spring season with picnics, day trips and simply reading a good book in the sunlight, I'm planning a cocktail party at my place for a few friends for the actual Spring Equinox on March 20th.
