Forgo the pink, red and white this Valentines Day. Instead transport your guests to the Twilight zone by channeling the movie's chilly color palette; the mistiness of the forest shots and the mysterious cloudy-gray tones.

To set the scene cover windows with dark, plush fabric. A grey crushed-velvet drape works well.

Set out an array of votives in different sizes. Choose candles with woodsy or natural scents.

Set out decadent temptations like truffles and dark chocolate nibbles.
