Vineyard Themed Wedding or Engagement Party

Our biggest inspiration for this party was the wedding invitations we found over at Pear Tree Greetings.

They have so many beautiful invitations to choose from it was a tough choice! But, when I came across their Simply Vineyard invitation I knew it would be the perfect introduction to a "Wine" themed wedding.

This is a great theme for a couple getting married in wine country, has a passion for wine tasting, or simply wants to add a touch of European-chic to their day.

France and Italy are known for their wines so we wanted to add a bit of European elegance to our decor. Empty frames, vintage-inspired pieces, and Old-World china patterns are incorporated. We used the grape colors from the invitation in subtle ways, but kept the overall look neutral to mimic the background of our elegant invite.

Our sweetheart table place settings were dressed up using our vineyard invitation as a guide. Grape rimmed plates were topped with crafty DIY wine cork place card holders.

Vineyard weddings are often ideal settings for intimate gatherings. With fewer guests we were able to customize the wedding with individual mini wine bottles that doubled as escort cards.

As a nod to the beautiful grape design on our invitation we set up a wine and cheese display at the center of our outdoor space. No wedding is complete without a wine and cheese tasting, so this was just perfect!
