The fab four is back and this time, they've traded in the bright lights of the BIG city for Abu Dhabi, and Aidan?!? I can't wait. Like most women, I've anxiously been awaiting this day since the credits started rolling in round one of the big screen version of SATC. This Thursday, Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda bring their super fab selves back into my world to indulge in martinis, manolos and men. (Sigh of relief) 

I'm sure every girl has asked themself which SATC character they're most like. (If you haven't, there's a Facebook quiz that will tell you  which pair of strappy, sparkly shoes  fit best. I took the quiz, and according to Facebook, I'm... "Carrie. Like Carrie's wardrobe, you're, full of color, sparkle and creativity, and expect the same in your relationships."

I couldn't agree more. In fact back in college I'm pretty sure I sported an "I'm a Carrie" t-shirt. What? It was cool.

Luckily, I have my own personal Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte keeping me in check in my life too. There's really no one else I'd rather celebrate being young and fabulous with, than these girls. Which is why I'm having them all over for  finger foods, and character cocktails before heading out to the movies.

I'm making champagne character cocktails (with super cute names like The Fashionista, The Bombshell, The Socialite and The Player) for those of us that indulge in bubbles, and for those friends that prefer a martini glass to a flute, Charlotte's Chocolatini and Carrie's Wedding White Cosmo.

Get creative with your theme party. Serve up super fun cupcakes adorned with high heels, pink frosting, and  just a hint of sparkle. Create DIY invitations to invite friends over, and decorate with a glamorous dessert chic design in mind with brightly colored throw pillows, and low tray tables.
