Celebration Circle…

I don't know about the rest of you, but this week's weather made me wish for  sprinklers, creamsicles and lemonade. It's just too darn hot!  In honor of the dog days of summer,  this week's Celebration Circle is filled with spectacularly "cool" ideas from some of our favorite bloggers, to slow down and beat the summer heat.

First up...

The cutest lobster cake I have ever seen. It comes from i Bake Cupcakes I know technically, this isn't cold, or refreshing or made with ice, BUT... it makes the heat bearable when you're looking at something this cute, in this "beach" weather.

So cute right?

Check out some other fun summer cupcake recipes here.

Another one of our favorite bloggers Bakers Royale has some super adorable stuff up too, including these easy DIY fruit pops. What happens when cookie cutters meet watermelon... who knew?

And of course there's  more frozen treats for summer here.

PLUS... who's been watching Bethenny Getting Married?
Just admit it. You can't help yourself. Well, neither can we. That and we HAD to check out one of our absolute favorite event planners, and Celebrations Party Pro's Shawn Rabideau. in action. Man did he have his work cut out for him in just 4 weeks. Nice work Shawn! To celebrate Bethenny Getting Married, here's a creamsicle Martini recipe from Shawn to help you cool down in the summer heat.

Shawn Rabideau's Creamsicle Martini

Pour Ice, 4 parts Vanilla Vodka, 4 parts Orange Vodka, 2 parts Cointreau & a heavy splash of Orange juice into a shaker. Garnish with orange slice and enjoy!

Cheers!
