Celebrations Circle!

Hopefully this week's party round up will put some spring into your step, especially for those of you who haven't been blessed with cloudless blue skies and ever-rising temperatures. Regardless of the snowflakes drifting past my window I can attest that spring is the air and in parties everywhere.

Spotted on Birthday Girl's blog was Little Sooti's precious vintage-inspired garden party that oozes old-timey goodness from its glass bottled pink lemonade to its pretty pink French macarons. Charming, chic and easy to imitate, c'est trés magnifique!

Here's one for the kids, a Cookies and Milk party from the folks at Cookie Mondays. The cupcake liner garland is clever, resourceful and not to mention absolutely adorable. This bakery-themed party is a great idea party for kids of all ages who love to eat and drink as much as their savvy mommies and daddies.

Here's another inspirational idea from Second City Soirée. Whether you have guests coming over for lunch or have a party to plan this Easter door swag is as festive as it is welcoming. Check out Second City's blog for a full tutorial to make a swag of your own using items from your local florist supply. We won't blame you if you leave it up all season!

These may look your run-of-the-mill cupcakes, but a juicy secret lies beneath that layer of perfectly piped frosting: they're pink grapefruit! Yes, you heard right these little beauties are pink grapefruit yogurt cupcakes dreamt up by the self-taught young mastermind behind Ryan's Baking Blog. These citrus infused cupcakes would be perfect for a pink party, afternoon tea or just about any get-together that calls for something a little bit out of the ordinary.

Have a happy weekend everyone, hopefully you can set aside the spring cleaning for a bit and find time for a little decorating, a bit of baking and a lot of partying!
