We're big foodies here at Celebrations - whether it's salty, sweet, savory or a little of all, we won't knock it 'til we've tried it. So, when I came into the office this morning and saw today was Eat What You Want Day, well, you can imagine how the wheels got turning.
In New York City (that's we're we are!) the entire culinary world is at your fingertips and it's something I don't take for granted. One of my favorite things to do is eat out. I get to try a new food or indulge in a dish I'd never be able to cook at home. So, with an overabundance of options, what's a girl to do on a day like today?
After careful consideration...I've decided to...eat a s'more!!
But no, not just any old s'more. Don't get me wrong, a classic graham topped with a piece of chocolate and toasted 'mallow is a bite of heaven, but one of my writers, Patti Allan, last week sent in a few glammed up recipes of my favorite dessert that I haven't been able to get over.
I've tried. I really have. But...I can't just shake it! In anticipation of summer, since s'mores are a big part of the season, and for the simple fact that Patti's desserts look so yummy on screen I've just got to try one, I'm going to. Tonight. But which ONE?? I can't make them all - my bikini would never forgive me.
Can we attempt a vote here?
I need serious assistance.
First up, Pretzel Rod S'mores. I like these 'cause they're simple to make, offer a taste of s'more, but won't make me overindulge. They're crunchy, chocolatey, s'morey and satisfying.
Patti's s'more kebobs look goooo-ood. Love the addition of the strawberry - fruit makes this a healthy choice. Right?
MMM. S'mores cookies...so yum. Plus, I could treat myself to one of these desserts for days to come. Tempting.
But wait, there's this S'mores Trifle. Oh.Em.Gee. Yes. Looks super creamy and decadent. And I'm a mousse lover. What to do.
It gets better. How? How can it get better? I'll tell, no, I'll just show you.
Yep, Homemade S'mores Ice Cream Cake!!! Complete with a toasted 'mallow on top. Sigh.
**Party people, please, please help me! What do I make?!**

Um... what's that saying - saved the best for last. I think that you did in this post. So, my thumbs go up for the Homemade S'mores Ice Cream Cake.
What more could you ask for?
It certainly looks like the most work, but oh, so worth it! Thanks Jessica!
Working on summer holiday party ideas right now. Absolutely love the idea of using a pinwheel for a s'mores kabob. So cute. Thanks.
