Can I tell you a secret? I've never tried Key Lime pie. I've never had a key lime cookie, cupcake, crepe...are there key lime crepes? Anyway, I, a BIG foodie and dessert lover, have never ever tasted key lime.

Why the sudden need to confess? This week I've seen key lime popping up all over the blogosphere and it made me feel really left out! In order to motivate myself to get tasting this flavor everyone seems to be lovin' and to share some pretty scrumptious recipes with you, I thought I'd put together a bit of a round up of key lime desserts I saw.

Since I'm a cupcake-aholic (I'm sure that's the clinical name) I'm sharing Cupcake Project's Upside-Down Key Lime Pie Cupcakes first. Though I can't pretend to know how the bottom half of this pie-inspired cupcake tastes, I can get excited for the graham cracker icing on top. You heard right - graham. cracker. icing.

I discovered Be Different...Act Normal this week and I'm pretty much obsessed with Lorie because she's so awesome. Check out the Key Lime Swirl Cheesecake Bars post she shared - it's a recipe from Sprinkle Bakes that was posted on Confessions of a Cookbook Queen. Told you the blogosphere is buzzin' about Key Lime!

A really cute cake trend I'm seeing are cake pops - like an ice cream push pop, but with cake. These Key Lime Pie ones from Cupcake Project do look and sound easy enough - not to mention they scream yummy. I think this might be the recipe I try for my first ever Key Lime taste test.

Last. but not least are Sheek Shindig's Key Lime Cuplets. These bite sized desserts are adorable. They look creamy, crunchy, light and satisfying all at the same time. Sarah (she's the brains behind Sheek Shindigs and we LOVE her work) came across this recipe while looking for a dessert for a June bridal shower she's planning. We can't think of anything more perfect for such an occasion!
