Celebrations Circle: Monster Mash

It's not Halloween without a daily dose of furry monsters with sharp fangs, yellow eyes, and spooky screams. With this exciting holiday just around the corner, we've been spotting monsters of all shapes and sizes popping up in our favorite drinks, treats, and even decorations!

Okay, so this may be the fact that I spent the past two nights watching Addams Family re-runs talking, but tell me these cupcakes don't just scream "Cousin Itt"! I would rather have a furry pet cupcake than a pet wig, (or whatever Cousin Itt is supposed to be) anyway. You can learn how to make these fun cupcakes by heading over to Katie's Cucina for her super helpful video tutorial!

These adorable Eyeball Cookies over at Sweet Sugar Belle are the perfect way to add a creep factor to your Halloween table. Not to mention they look and sound super delicious! Besides being irresistibly cute, the recipe is so easy that you can even make them with the kids! Yep, that's right, let your kids do the hard work while you sit back and "supervise".

I love these Monster Cereal Cupcakes from The Party Animal for various reasons. They are spooky and cute, while providing me with the false sense that the cupcakes I'm eating are sort of healthy. Sure, I know that any cereal that Count Chocula approves must be loaded with sugar and frosting, but putting cereal on a cupcake instead of candy sprinkles makes it seem just a little bit better. Oh, and I haven't even mentioned the best part... free printables! That means less work for me and more time to taste test these cupcakes!

Wash all of your tasty monster treats down with this Mummy's Rummy Milkshake from The Naptime Chef! It's sweet, creamy, and full of delicious Rummy flavor for the perfect Halloween party cocktail. I'll definitely be drinking this with my Cousin Itt monster cupcakes.
