Here's a fun Halloween craft idea from Karina Lopez of KC You There. It's a perfect quick and easy project for that spooky party you're throwing this weekend! If you're interested in being a guest blogger for Celebrations, give us a shout!
With so much going on prior to Halloween like finding a cute couples costume, deciding which party to attend, and everything in between, we at KC You There understand time is limited. We wanted to share this super cute and super easy last minute Halloween décor idea, the mummy bottle. When planning a Halloween party we are so consumed with making sure we have all the right food and desserts, we forget that our pre-made drinks need some TLC as well.
The mummy bottles consist of only four items:
1-Bottles
2-Masking Tape
3-A Sharpie (black or red!)
4-Scissor
In the pictures below you’ll see we have emptied our bottles, however we only did this to re-use them as holders for our cider and other yummy mixed drinks which can be best poured with a small funnel! Here’s how to create this extravagant masterpiece:
1-Rinse out bottle
2-Soak in hot water to move the adhesive sticker
3-Cut the masking tape into strips (with the scissor)
4-Cut the strips into half (better look with just your fingers)
5-Wrap around bottle (keep an opening for the eyes!)
Depending on the amount of bottles you choose to decorate, this project will take you no more than twenty minutes (6 bottles) to create and truly does complete any Halloween table! Like ours, we know your time is precious! Happy Halloween friends!
We used these during a Halloween desserts and décor segment for Channel 4, Winging It! Buffalo Style and they were a huge hit!

I absolutely love this idea! Such a simple way to spruce up something you'd never think to decorate, like a bottle. People really notice little touches like that and I'm excited to try it at my next party!
