Custom Holiday Labels + A Giveaway! -CLOSED

-This giveaway has ended. Congratulations Kacie Frey!-

At my family's Thanksgiving feast it's my job to supply the sweet treats, and over the course of a few years I've learned a thing or two when it comes to serving dessert to family members who've just gorged themselves on a feast of food.

Various homemade cookies, cupcakes and pies must always make an appearance at Thanksgiving festivities with my family. This year, in addition to the traditional cookies and caramel apple cupcakes that are required, I tried something new. Pie Pops!

Yes, the latest and greatest trend we've been seeing all over made it's way to the Thanksgiving table this year, and I can't tell you how big a hit it was - especially because the cuteness didn't stop with pie on a stick. My family went bananas over the "Happy Thanksgiving" tags I tied to the pops.

When I initially found these tags over at My Own Labels I knew I'd discovered something cute, but holy moley did my family just adore these guys. Something super simple, yet so festive and memorable took front and center. Who knew it would be possible to upstage pie pops?!?!

Well, not only was I over the moon at the reception these tags got from my fam, I was also super impressed at how well-made and easy to use the tags were. At one point we popped the pie pops into the oven to warm them up - tags and all.

So, to spread the word at one of our new fave finds, we're giving one lucky reader a $50 gift card to My Own Labels and free holiday gift tags!

Customize your label or tag with a season's greeting and get creative with how you use them. And though we wish we could make everyone a winner, it can never be. We hope unveiling the famous Caramel Apple Cupcake Recipe is at least a great second prize!

Oh, and if you're interested in making some pie pops (our Nutella ones were SO delish) head over to Bakerella. We got our easy tutorial there. Good luck everyone!

My favorite holiday dessert is peanut butter brownie ice cream cones! Peanut Butter Brownie ice cream cones are made with real ice cream cones, but instead of ice cream I scoop brownie batter into the cones and bake them. I love peanut butter so i also had some swirls of peanut butter or peanut butter chips into the batter. When they are finished baking, I top them off with vanilla icing to look like whipped cream, and sprinkles! (Red and green or blue and white for the holidays!)

These ice cream cone treats can be made with cupcake batter too if you don't love brownies and you can mix in any of your favorite treats to make them special to you! Wrapping a 'My Own Label' around these cute little treats would be perfect touch to to this taste of holiday perfection!

It's a tough call, but I'm going to go with bread pudding with some caramel sauce.
