Celebrations Circle: A Touch of Peppermint

The weather may still feel like fall, but that hasn't stopped some of our favorite bloggers from putting together some of their favorite holiday-inspired recipes and decorations! This week, I've been stumbling upon so many great peppermint flavored treats and crafts! I don't usually enjoy peppermint flavored treats, but once the holiday season hits, I'm willing to try peppermint-flavored anything!

Cute, bite-sized, and tasty! In my opinion, meringues are one of the most underrated cookies. They are super adorable and there are SO many variations of every recipe. These Peppermint Meringues from Chasing Delicious have made the perfect Christmas cookie. I also love that they are so festive without having to spend hours icing Santa's face onto every cookie.

Besides exchanging presents, I love exchanging holiday cookies and recipes! And while my other cookie exchanging friends are mostly culinary geniuses, I always find myself spending hours looking for a tasty cookie that embodies the flavors and colors of the holiday. Looks like I found my answer - and it's in the shape of a whoopie pie. Head on over to Tater Tots and Jello for the recipe so you can make your own Peppermint Whoopie Pies!

As far as decorations are concerned, wreaths are one of my favorites, no matter what time of year. Thanks to all the talented bloggers out there, I'm never at a loss for ideas for the perfect holiday-themed wreath. This Peppermint Wreath comes from One Preppy Cookie, and it is surprisingly super easy to make!

Advent calendars are a great way to turn the one day or week of celebrating into a full month! Growing up, I remember being so excited to open up a new surprise every morning. This Peppermint Advent Calendar from All Sorts is so cute and festive, and I absolutely LOVE that it comes with a free printable pattern, which makes my life about a thousand times easier.
