Celebrations Circle: A Toast to the New Year!

As you may have already guests, New Years Eve is one of our favorite holidays at Celebrations. And why wouldn't it be? It gives us a reason to get together with our closest friends, while eating tasty desserts and sipping on some fabulous cocktails! Plus, we'll take any excuse to get all dressed up! And of course, any New Years celebrations requires some serious preparation. I've rounded up some of favorite New Years Eve ideas from some fantastic blogs this week to help make your party planning a cinch!

Shrimp cocktails are pretty much a staple on any appetizer menu. I'll never say no to these tasty little bites, and when I read that this Shrimp Cocktail from Farmgirl Gourmet was marinated in Barenjager Honey Liqueur, I knew it was a match made in heaven. Even the cocktail sauce is infused with the liqueur. Y-U-M!

While Shrimp Cocktail is an every-day appetizer staple, the one drink that is a MUST on New Years Eve is champagne. That's So Michelle came up with these mouth watering Champagne Jello Shots that I just can't wait to try!

Usually at the end of a party, I'm left with countless wine bottles that are half full and end up being dumped out. These cork bottle stoppers from Life in Style are PERFECT for being able to seal and save your wine to enjoy on a later date!

Once Christmas is over , most of us just pack our ornaments away and toss the tree. Sara at Our Best Bites had a better idea - reuse your tree for New Years! Her New Years tree is filled with noise makers, 2012 glasses, and bright and colorful balloons. What will you put on your New Years tree?!
