The film stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Aaron Eckhart, Gary Oldman and the late Heath Ledger. “Dark Knight” picks-up where the last movie ended and has Batman
(Bale) battling the Joker (Ledger) and tangling with politician Harvey Dent (Eckhart).
Amy Poehler – The "Saturday Night Live" star was nominated for an Emmy Award for her work on the show. NBC also announced that she will be starring in the new “Office” spin-off this winter. If that wasn’t enough good news, she is also pregnant. Sounds like Amy will have quite a busy year ahead of her.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt – Angelina gave birth to twins last week. The superstar couple named their new kin, Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon. The actress gave birth to the fraternal twins in Nice at Santa Maria of Foundation Lenval. Earlier this week Angelina and the babies left the hospital. According to doctors, both Angelina and the babies are doing very well. Although, the babies have yet to land a role in a feature film…
Conan O’Brien – The star of "Late Night," will be taking over "The Tonight Show" on June 1st 2009. Conan O’Brien will be replacing Jay Leno, who had hosted the show for 17 years. NBC made the announcement earlier this week. Leno’s last show will be May 29th 2009. It is unknown at this time whether Leno will retire, go to another network or work on NBC in another capacity. Jimmy Fallon will replace Conan as host of "Late Night." No matter what happens, this is sure to keep us up late at night…
