Gift Guide: Non-Tacky Bachelorette Party Presents for the Bride-to-Be

There is so much fanfare surrounding a wedding and the bride-to-be; the proposal, engagement party, dress shopping and bridal shower(s). And as exciting as this whole time is in a woman's life, it can be a little stressful and overwhelming -- which is why the bachelorette party is the time to kick back, let loose and have a few drinks with the girls.

Every bride-to-be has a different idea of what they want on their bachelorette party. Unfortunately, party stores seem to think an engaged lady's idea of a perfect bachelorette gift is anything that's black and pink, has feathers on it or is, um, phallic-shaped.

To avoid falling into the trap of getting something tacky or something she'll never use again, try buying the bride-to-be something unique, personalized or that she'll need on her big day. Lingerie exchanges are also popular for bachelorette parties, but not every bride is interesting in receiving so many undergarments.

I've gathered some of my favorite bachelorette party gifts that are fun, easy and won't break the bank. Because let's be honest, after buying a bridesmaids dress, a shower gift, an engagement gift, a wedding gift and plane tickets, the last thing you want to do is blow your entire paycheck on a bachelorette present.

Now that the pressure of finding a gift is off, it's time to focus on the important stuff: should you make Pina Colada or Margarita Jell-O shots for the pre-game?

  • Wedding Day Emergency Kit

Everything a bride needs on her big day, packed into one mason jar! Extra bobby pins, needle and thread, Shout wipes, aspirin, Listerine strips and more. Make your own, or pick up this adorable pack from acasarella shop on Etsy for $35.

The bride will be grateful you did!
  • Mrs. Necklace

She already has big bling on that finger, so give her something else she can rock for her night out on the town. This pretty gold Mrs. necklace from SeoulLittle shop on Etsy ranges from $28 to $32 (depending on the length and style), and is the perfect accessory the bride-to-be can enjoy for her wedding celebrations, honeymoon and beyond.

  • DIY Framed Lipstick Art

If DIY is more of your thing, then consider making one of these adorable and super easy DIY Framed Lipstick Art pieces, like the one The Kissters made here on Celebrations. It 's a great way for the bride to remember all of her best girlfriends, and costs next to nothing to make. How adorable?!

  • Bride Zip-Up Hoodie

This hoodie is adorable for lounging around on lazy days before the wedding (i.e. the day after the bachelorette party!). It's also perfect for the bride to rock while she's getting ready on her big day. She'll need something that zips up during hair and makeup, right? Get it from Victoria's Secret for $58.

  • Love Pillow

This trendy pillow is the perfect accessory for bride and groom in their new love nest. The chic gold sequined letters are a stylish touch, and what could be more appropriate for newlyweds than the word "love?" Buy one from Max & Me Homewards on Etsy for $51.50.

  • Travel 'Mrs' Cosmetic Bag

The bride and groom are most likely going to be jet setting off to a fun location for their honeymoon, so make sure she is prepared for the flight. This clear cosmetic bag is perfect to take on vacation (especially through airport security), and lets everyone know who just got hitched! Buy this one from Kate Spade for $60.
