Bob the Builder Theme Party

When you need a kid’s birthday party idea that your little boy will love, a Bob The Builder Party should be at the top of your list.

Put these easy ideas to work to build an unforgettable construction celebration themed party for your little one and his crew.

  • Give your guests a taste of the fun things to expect at your Bob the Builder theme party by sending out festive invites! Include a photo of the guest of honor in his construction best - he'll love dressing up and posing in his favorite hard hat gear.

  • Set up great construction road signs pointing the guests in the direction of the party. When they get to the destination, the kids check in at a check in post and will be fitted for construction clothing.

  • John Deere inspired decorations, such as trucks and construction toys to set on the table are a cute centerpiece idea and also do double duty as entertainment for the children between activities. Really make them earn their keep by using them as a fun take away gift.

  • Customize plates, cups, napkins, and table cloths with construction themed images, like a blueprint table cloth and John Deere Tractor decorations.

  • No construction theme party is complete without plenty of activities and "work" for the kids to do. These craft ideas will keep the little ones busy and give them something special to take home with them when they're done. Let kids design their own uniform, such as their tee and name tags.

  • Create tool-themed coloring pages on your computer for guests to color and take home. This a perfect activity for young children who may not be ready to play with tools.

  • Have “paint their own play house” kits using large boxes. Grab materials from Home Depot for builder kits and include hammer, nails, plywood, and Styrofoam blocks. Hire a tractor to come and have the driver tell them about the machine.

  • There's no doubt that after a hard day of work the little ones will have appetites the size of bulldozers. Reward their hard work with a "company lunch" hand-picked by the foreman himself. The food doesn't have to be fancy either - it's all about the presentation in this party. Put food in dump trucks and diggers that can be put on the table as fun decorations.

  • Top the theme off with a dessert worthy of a hard working builder. Have a cake in the shape of a toolbox or have toy construction trucks be the cake toppers.
