Celebrate National Margarita Day

If National Margarita Day on February 22nd isn't a reason to celebrate, we don't know what is! And what better way to celebrate this exciting holiday than by trying some fun, new margarita recipes?

We've done the experimenting for you and put together some of our favorite recipes using ingredients from strawberries to mangoes and even jalapenos.

  • No one said you had to drink your margarita from a glass. We're loving this Margarita Jell-O shot served in a lime. It's so easy to make and even easier to enjoy.

  • Take a step out of your comfort zone and give this next margarita recipe a try. Perfectly frozen, frothy and flavored, it's a delicate mix of blackberries, thyme and tequila that'll have you drooling in no time.

  • We're seeing peaches make an appearance in lots of cocktail recipes this year, but something about the fruit mixed with good tequila sounds absolutely perfect. A mix of 8 parts Sauza Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila, 4 parts peach schnapps, 2 parts orange liqueur, 6 parts lime juice and 12 parts peach nectar, this margarita recipe can be made in advanced and served over ice and garnished with a peach when you're ready to enjoy!

  • Shake things up even more with this untraditional margarita recipe. Spiked with the traditional tequila, but mixed with sherbet, too, it's a creamy cool way to enjoy an extra special margarita!

  • Bananas may not be the first ingredient to come to mind when mixing up a margarita, but we think you should give the combo a try!

Simply blend together a 13-ounce can of frozen pineapple, orange and banana concentrate, 4 frozen bananas (to get a frothy mix!), 1 can of light beer, the juice of 3 limes and 13 ounces of Sauza Blue Reposado 100% Agave Tequila. Serve in a margarita glass rimmed with brown sugar and garnish with sliced bananas.

  • Watermelons are sweet, cool, and refreshing. Why not throw them in a mixer and make a Watermelon Margarita out of it? You don't need much ice to make this slushy marg!

  • Both sweet and citrus infused, this Blackberry Lime Margarita is a must try. Berries and limes should be mixed together more often!

  • If you're looking for a flavor that's a little less traditional and little more risque, Mark Addison's Salt and Pepper Margarita is calling your name!

  • Sangria Margarita?! You read that right! And yes, it's just as tasty as it sounds, but beware - this cocktail is not for the faint of heart!

  • Of course we had to include the original Margarita. Perfect for a warm, sunny day or a nice relaxing break after a long work day.

  • Mango Margaritas are extremely popular due to one simple fact... they are irresistibly delicious! This Mangorita recipe uses real mango nectar for that delicious fresh flavor.

  • Take the classic Margarita flavor and add a dash of jalapeno and what do you have? One zesty cocktail! Try this Margarita with a Twist recipe if you're feeling extra spicy.

  • We bet you've never tried this one before.. Guava Jalapeno Margarita. Perfect for a drinker with an adventurous taste palate.

  • I bet you're thinking, a Spicy Cool Margarita? Margaritas aren't spicy. You won't be saying that after trying this one - and I'm sure you'll agree jalapenos should be used more often.
