Delicious Budget Dessert Recipes Perfect for Fundraisers

There’s a budget for any party and most hosts will work hard to keep within that range, but if they slip a little, it’s not such a big deal. When it comes to fundraisers, however, the idea is to minimize costs and maximize raised funds for a cause as much as possible.

Bake sales and fundraising parties both have one thing in common: Desserts play a big part in helping to raise money. We’ve put together a list of our favorite dessert recipes that are inexpensive, as far as ingredient lists go, easy to make a big batch of and absolutely delicious.

So head on into that kitchen, get your baking mitts on and get ready to raise lots of money for the cause you’re most passionate about.

  • Oreo Truffles

All you need to make these decadent morsels is a tray of Oreos, a block of cream cheese and 8 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate. The recipe will produce between 40 and 50 truffles, depending upon how large you make them. The best part? They’re uber-delicious, so you’ll sell out.

  • Easy Lemon Petit Fours

Petit Fours sound glamorous, and they sort of are, but that doesn’t mean they have to be complicated to make at home and on a budget. Give this dessert recipe a try for your fundraiser – you’ll be able to charge more for their naturally high end feel, but they won’t cost you a ton.

  • No Bake Mini Banana Parfaits

Anything no bake is always easy, and these parfaits are no exception. More appropriate for a high end fundraiser where you’ll have dessert glasses available, they’re delicious and appealing.

  • White Chocolate Dipped Pretzels

Sweet, salty and crunchy, chocolate dipped pretzels are another one of those desserts people just can’t get enough of. Give the recipe a chic spin by using white chocolate instead.

  • Frosted Brownies

Boxed brownie mix is fool proof – and also really budget-friendly, but if you’re trying to charge for these guys and raise some funds, you have to make them special. We’re loving the latest line of creative frostings from Duncan Hines with flavors like cotton candy to spread atop our brownies.

  • Margarita Sugar Cookies

Put the word margarita in front of anything and you have a winner. These cookies are a cinch to cook up for last minute bake sales and are sure to stand out on displays.
