Deliciously Filling No-Heat Summer Recipes

During the summer we can't stay out of the kitchen enough! But turning off the oven and making these no-heat options will help keep everyone fed and happy. Plus with our no-bake desserts you won't need your oven until the fall.

We're all over these no-heat meals during the summer. We have one for every night of the week plus a few we can't wait to bring for lunch. Lets get cooking!

  • Tijuana Torta

This mashed bean sandwhich featured on Kitchen Daily takes no time to prepare! A great no-heat vegetarian option for dinner, or even to bring along to the office.

  • Broccoli Tomato and Chickpea Salad

Whether you're looking for a side dish or a simple salad to enjoy in the summer heat, this one from She Knows is sure to be a hit!

  • Chilled Avocado Soup

If you have a blender and 5 minutes you have enough time to make this chilled soup for dinner. After blending everything up refrigerate this mixture from Dine & Dash until you're ready to dig in.

  • Colorful Lentil Salad with Walnuts & Herbs

This filling salad is healthy and perfect for left-over lovers! Thanks to The Kitchn we will be eatting well all week long (without a hot kitchen of course!)

  • Spicy Shrimp with Fresh Ginger Herb Curry

EatWell101 has an amazing no-heat shrimp recipe that we can't wait to try! Whether you decide to serve them up as an appetizer, or the main event, you can't go wrong with these spicy guys.

  • Fresh Spring Rolls with a Light Peanut Sauce

We're always looking for a good spring roll recipe, and this one is easy, and will keep you out of the stove this summer! Eating Bird Farm even made sure that these rolls will help us keep our beach bods in shape!

  • Beef Kebabs

Get out of the kitchen and turn on your grill! We love Simply Recipes' beef kababs, because they are tastey and easily adjusted for your own liking (chicken anyone?)

  • BBQ Pulled Pork Chicken Sandwiches

This slow-cooker meal, featured on Mel's Kitchen Cafe, slightly cheats on the no-heat rule. But turning your slow cooker on low will definetly keep your kitchen cooler. Plus you can make this dish while you're out and about with your busy summer schedule!

  • Crisp Tuna-Cabbage Salad

During the summer we can never get enough tuna salad, we love this recipe from The Kitchen because it swaps out our usual mayo for greek yogurt, and fills us up thanks to the added cabbage!
