Sweeten Things Up with Creative Desserts

There's something about a sweet treat that brings a smile to a person's face. Have you ever whipped up a batch of cookies for a friend who accomplished a mini feat? Or baked up a sweet holiday loaf for a neighbor?

While dinner may get us gathered round the table, there's no occasion out there that can be called complete without dessert.

November Celebrate Crate Products

This month, we're having a blast in the kitchen by whipping up some fun and creative desserts with a little bit of help from these unique decorating products. Click through our gallery to get inspired to whip up some delicious desserts for whatever occasion you may be celebrating this month, along with a few additional ideas to get creative with these awesome products.

  • Whether you're a baking queen or cupcake novice, we've got a lot of ideas to get you inspired and into the kitchen. The holiday season is also a big baking season, and with a little help from some of our favorite baking and decorating supplies, you'll be the most impressive holiday hostess or house guest of the season!

  • Pies are perhaps the most iconic fall desserts and this year, we're dressing ours up for the holidays with trendy toppers! Purchase toppers to fit your theme or celebration - it's an easy way to add a darling embellishment to mini pies. Plus, it transforms your dessert into the perfect treat to pass out to neighbors and friends as edible gifts for the holidays.

  • We made one of our most popular dessert recipes, Oreo truffles, in mini cupcake form for an added dose of sweetness to a recent birthday celebration with a mini mold from My Little Cupcake. After dipping completely in chocolate, we coated the top with a white chocolate dipping and garnished with an M&M and sprinkles to complete the look!

  • Dyed white chocolate Candiquik coating can turn any dessert into a festive treat. For fall, we added drops of red, orange and yellow coloring to create vibrant autumn shades. Then, we dipped everything from Oreos to pretzels to marshmallows and nuts in the chocolate.

  • If you haven't tried making them yet, get in the kitchen and whip up some cake pops! You'll need the following supplies for this easy-to-eat treat:  Wilton lollipop sticks, Candiquik coating and mini cake pop molds. Once you've gathered these, take a peek at our our easy-to-follow tutorial and get ready to become a cake pop queen!

  • Use molds and Candiquik coatings to make holiday treats that capture the festivities perfectly. For Thanksgiving, count your blessings on heart shaped cake pops. When Christmas arrives, coat round ones in crushed candy cane for a decorative design that's super easy to recreate.

  • Turn your cake pop creating into a party. We put together a cake pop fondue with a few basic supplies, including Candiquik coatings and Wilton lollipop sticks and it turned into one of the best girl night in parties.

  • We discovered Wilton lollipop sticks shouldn't be limited to food itself. A fun way to dress up any snack or appetizer is by stuffing it into a paper cone propped up on them. Functional and fun!

  • Add an extra dose of sweetness to any gift with flavorlopes. Even better? Flavored envelopes make the chore of licking lots of holiday cards a sweeter affair for you!
