Go Crazy for Chocolate Covered Desserts

It's also not rocket science baking, which means any party hostess can serve something simple, but totally scrumptious and special at any celebrations she hosts.

We've rounded up our top chocolate covered dessert recipes we've collected over the years to inspire you to whip up a sweet treat party guests will go crazy for. These desserts are all tried and true recipes - tested again and again - to make sure they're as delicious as we say they are!

  • Chocolate dipping isn't something to be afraid of - it's actually very easy. when you've got a good melting chocolate like Candiquik. Simple to temper, easy to work with and offering delicious results, it's a great choice for even the most novice of chocolatiers.

  • Chocolate covered pretzels and nuts are both savory, sweet and salty. A trifecta of deliciousness any guest will appreciate!

  • While pretzels are certainly salty and sweet, bacon takes the flavor combo to a whole new level when dipped in chocolate. We coated ours in chocolate then sprinkled garnishes like chopped nuts and white chocolate bits onto our strips!

  • Dip your Oreo cookies into melted chocolate and even pop them on a stick for added delight. Kids and adults alike adore this classic treat so much, we hand them out as favors at so many celebrations by skewering them with a lollipop stick.

  • Speaking of treats on a stick, nothing trumps a cake pop when it comes to chocolate dipped desserts - at least in our houses. While we've mastered the basic cake pop, we recently got creative with heart and ball cake pop molds to dress up some holiday treats. We wrote our blessings on heart pops to pass around at Thanksgiving dessert using an edible marker.

  • No chocolate covered dessert conversation can omit the ver popular chocolate covered fruit! While we're just as big of fans of strawvberries as you, we're expanding our selection with white chocolate dipped pineapple pops and chocolate dipped kiwis. Delish!

  • You don't have to limit yourself to simply dipping the entire piece of fruit into chocolate. Add a taste to the bottom of a banana bite, then fill the top with creamy peanut butter for a really decadent treat.

  • And who says chocolate dipping is limited to food? Dip the rims of your martini glass into melted chocolate for an added dose of decadance. Dessert drinks like our chocolate Bailey's martini won't dissapoint at a holiday soiree!
