Halloween Pumpkin Crafts & Decorations

We've rounded up our favorite pumpkin crafts and decorations for Halloween, and you best believe there's something in here for everybody. From a DIY pumpkin keg to glittered pumpkin centerpieces, there are so many ways to get crafty and creative with the most iconic Halloween decoration!

  • Without doubt our big Halloween decoration this year is our pumpkin keg. Is any fall party, let alone Halloween, complete without it? This pumpkin keg is functional, fun and festive - what more could you ask for?

  • By day they might just look like ordinary pumpkins, but at night, they'll emit a truly eerie glow if you paint them with glow in the dark paint. It's easy to do!

  • Skip the carving and go with a silhouette design for your pumpkins. We love this idea Vanessa had to put her family's silhouettes on display!

  • Crayons aren't just for drawing - melt them the way Jenny did to add lots of funky color to your pumpkin decorations. Even better? Add some glitter while you're at it, too!

  • Glitter and ombre? This Halloween pumpkin decoration has to be THE pumpkin of 2012 and a must-try project for us! Alexa’s super easy tutorial makes us think we’ll have quite a few of these pretty pumpkins on display this year.

  • If you do insist on carving a jack-o-lantern, get creative! Don't settle for a smiling toothless grin. We've got 10 creative and cool pumpkin designs to inspire!

  • Here's a fun pumpkin craft you can create while enjoying some sweet Halloween treats. Stella used her Zombie kettle corn to create a popcorn work of art out of her pumpkin! Check our her easy tutorial!

  • For an even more dramatic look, paint your pumpkin with black paint, and then drizzle red paint randomly along the sides. It'll create what we like to call our "vampy" pumpkin look, complete with deep blood red roses in the center.

  • Another great idea? Etch a face into your pumpkin then use it to display flowers the same way you would with a vase for an instantly festive Halloween centerpiece.

  • Metallic trinkets are a crafty and chic way to dress up pumpkins for Halloween. We love the look of assorted metallics on all white pumpkins.

  • This next Halloween pumpkin decoration is more adorable than spooky. We're thinking this mustache Halloween pumpkin design by Alexa makes for a great talking piece at any Halloween party!

  • Give pumpkins a chic look with lace. As pretty and fashionable as they are, pumpkins dressed in lace remind us of haunted houses making them spooky enough for Halloween decor.
