New Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Floats We Can't Wait to Watch

Macy’s revealed five new floats which will be featured in this year’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and we can't wait to see them make their way through Manhattan!

One of the most iconic Thanksgiving Day traditions is watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and cheering on your favorite floats! Macy’s recently revealed five new floats that will be featured in this year’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and we can’t wait to see them on Thanksgiving morning along with Santa’s first appearance of the season! In anticipation of the big day, here’s a sneak peek of the new floats that we’re excited to see in action.

  • The minions will be making an appearance on an adorable bakery themed float named “Despicably Delicious” based on "Despicable Me 2"! We have no doubt that these guys will be stealing the show and we can't wait to see them boogie down on this despicably sweet float.

  • Cirque du Soleil will be presenting a massive “flying” pirate ship float called “Dreamseeker”, featuring two trampolines and twenty acrobats! Performers will be flipping their way through Manhattan to entertain onlookers, who we’re sure will already be amazed by the size of this float!

  • As for a traditional part of the parade, we’re of course excited to see Santa make his first appearance of the season at the finale of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! With Christmas right around the corner, Santa will be gearing up for his Christmas Eve sleigh ride across the world!
