Olympic Ring Fun for the 2012 London Olympics

The 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London are right around the corner! And if you’re like us and had to settle watching the games on your T.V. screen instead of in the stand, you can still get in the Olympic day mood with a few decorations and preparations.

Since the age old Olympic Rings are the universal symbol for this exciting competition, we’ve decided to round up some of our favorite crafts and recipes incorporating this Olympic staple. This symbol can be dated back to 1913, and has continued to be the symbol of the Olympics thanks to it’s versatility and simplicity.

And in case you’re hosting an Olympic worthy party, you’ll need some award winning foods and drinks to seal the deal.  Pair these picks with our tasty Olympic Torch Toast served alongside some of our favorite Olympic dinner party recipes . Don't forget the tunes, either! We've got the perfect prize winning playlist to help keep the energy going while cheering for your favorite team (USA, all the way!).
