All of us have, at some point, probably included "eat healthier" on our list of New Year's Resolutions. Of course, we also know that this is easier said than done! Especially with all of those amazing dessert options out there tempting us away from our goal. This year, why not try one of these skinny dessert options instead and enjoy chocolate, cupcakes and yes, even donuts without the guilt.

  • Everyone remember those delicious Samoa Girl Scout cookies from their childhood. Well now you can create a healthier option that is still full of delicious coconut flavor with these Samoa Granola Bars. Even better? There is no baking involved, so you can whip these up for a dessert option or quick snack in no time!

  • By using fat-free Greek yogurt in the place of heavy cream or butter options, this Skinny Cranberry Swirl Cheesecake recipe manages to cut down on the fat while keeping the flavor. While these were originally baked with cranberries as a holiday treat, they can be easily modified with different berry options all year long.

  • Next up is the recipe for this no-bake Chocolate Pomegranate Tart. Pomegranate seeds AND dark chocolate? What more could you ask for!? While the original recipe calls for heavy cream, simply switch this out for a lighter option to create a "skinny" version.
