16 Fun 4th of July Crafts for Kids

With the 4th of July right around the corner, we're getting our craft supplies ready to display our American pride. Round up the kids and get crafting with these patriotic DIYs we found!

Crafters of all ages will enjoy getting ready for Independence Day with these easy, and fun red, white and blue crafts. Plus you can leave them out all year long and show everyone just how much you love the USA!


1. Patriotic Pinwheel Decorations

We've already done this great DIY, but we figured we would pull it back out of hiding just in time for the 4th! Make them in Red, White and Blue to really show your love for the nation. 


2. Dish Brush Fireworks

We can’t wait to see the fireworks this 4th, so we figured why not start early! Grab an old kitchen dish brush and some festive paint to do Sassy Dealz great DIY!


3. Firecracker Tie Dye Patriotic T-Shirt

The summer wouldn’t be the same without some good old tie dye, and Rocket Pops are always an Independence Day fave. So why not get into the spirit with I Love to Create.com’s Blog DIY.

We’re ready for the parade with these stylish glasses. Southern Yaknkee Mix used glasses without lenses, but we’re thinking about changing it up with sunglasses instead so we can insure we won’t miss any floats that come our way.


11. Patriotic Cup

This cute guy, courtesy of Easy Crafts for Kids would make a great centerpiece for our 4th party, or even just a patriotic friend to have around the house.


12. Red, White & Blue Beaded Sun Catchers

This simple craft is perfect to hang for the 4th of July, and keep out all summer long. You can hang these in your windows, or get really creative like Beneath my Heart, and make a mobile.


13. Easy Stars and Stripes Necklace

We’re obsessed with paper straws, and Pint Sized Treasures is on board with us as well. These Bubble Blowers are perfect for any summer afternoon, but with red, white and blue straws we can show our national pride, while we play!
