A Maid of Honor's Survivial Kit Must-Haves

Being the maid of honor is a huge responsibility. You are the bride’s go-to girl for anything and everything that may come between the time you’re asked to be the maid of honor to the moment she steps into that limo and is whisked away by her new hubby.

With all that responsibility riding on your shoulders, you’ll need an arsenal of supplies readily available and preferably small enough to fit into your evening bag!

Here are some essential items you’ll need at the wedding to solve any catastrophes and be the superhero of the wedding if the need arises.

Your Camera and Backup Battery and Memory Card

Probably one of those frightening possibilities at a wedding is if something happens to the photographer or the images. Since you’ll be right in the middle of the action, it’s up to you to play aspiring photographer and capture moments just in case. Plus, you love posting photos on Facebook. It’s a win win!

A Tide To Go Stick

White dresses, red wine and crazy Aunt Edna do not mix well. Wedding gowns and crowds of people may be a recipe for disaster so make sure you keep some sort of stain removal item and be prepared.

Band-Aids for Those Achy Feet

Stilettos and your drunken improvised dance with the best man to “Time of Your Life” may leave your pretty toes feeling like you ran a marathon. Be equipped with band-aids to counter the pain.

An Email with All the Important Numbers and Names

Before the wedding, email yourself the names and numbers of all of the vendors for the wedding. Instead of frantically trying to track down the contact info of the limo driver who’s late, you’ll have everything ready and accessible right on your smart phone.

Breath Mints

You NEVER know when they’ll come in handy! That Dirty Dancing moment you had with the best man with pretty blue eyes was kind of awesome.
