Our Favorite Moments from the 2014 Oscars: Pizza, Pink & Star-Studded Selfies

Hollywood's biggest stars take a break from their extravagantly glamorous lives to enjoy a laid-back, low-key evening of small talk and cocktails during the Academy Awards.

Just kidding. The Oscars are a star-studded, action-packed event that is filled with glitz, glamour and super high heels. It also must be extremely nerve-wracking for the A-listers and nominees, who wait on the edge of their seats for hours  to see if they've finally won the Holy Grail of awards show awards.

Since my invitation was apparently lost in the mail, I watched the Oscars from the comfort of my own home. In yoga pants, with an adult beverage in hand. And while the awards show had its typical highs and lows, there were definitely some moments that had me talking the next day.

Check out my favorite Oscars moments from the show, and drop a comment below to let me know any I might have missed!

Ellen Orders Pizza for Everyone

Pizza is basically the best thing in the world. And the only thing better than a hot, fresh pizza is a hot, fresh pizza handed out by Oscar host Ellen DeGeneres herself. I was shocked at how eager Hollywood's elite were to scarf down a greasy, cheesy slice. But considering they probably haven't had carbs or fat for, like, three months, I don't really blame them.

Jennifer Lawrence Trips... Again

Because she's Jennifer Lawrence and she's flawless and anything she does is adorable, the American Hustle actress didn't skip a beat after she tripped on the red carpet. At least it wasn't on her way to accept her Best Actress award, like in 2013. (That moment is still funny). And she laughed it off, so props to her!

The Star-Studded Selfie Crashes Twitter

The word "selfie" is kind of annoying. The act of taking a photo of yourself is also kind of annoying. But when Ellen encourages the biggest names in Hollywood to come together for one epic social media snap, it's hard to resist. The comedian convinced Bradley Cooper to snap a pic of himself, Meryl Streep, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Jared Leto, Jennifer Lawrence, Lupita Nyong'o (and her brother!), Kevin Spacey and more, and it made for a legendary photo. It was retweeted nearly 3 million times by Monday, and broke Twitter's servers for a few minutes!

Idina Menzel Flawlessly Performs 'Let it Go'

Despite the cringeworthy botched intro courtesy of John Travolta (who the heck is Adele Dazeem?), the Broadway singer's rendition of the Oscar-winning song from Frozen was flawless. It gave us chills all over again.

Pink Commemorates 75th Anniversary of 'The Wizard of Oz'

Pink is more known for her upbeat pop hits than her power vocals, but her rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"  to celebrate The Wizard of Oz's 75h anniversary really brought the house down. Not only did her amazing voice blow me away, but I loved her gorgeous red gown, which paid homage to Dorothy's iconic ruby red slippers. Flawless!

Lupita Dances a 'Happy' Dance with Pharrell

OK, Lupita is probably the most adorable actress in Hollywood right now. And before the took home the Oscar for Best Actress for her role in 12 Years a Slave, she cut loose by dancing with Pharrell during his performance of "Happy." We're big fans of the song "Happy" over here at Celebrations, but Lupita's dancing made it 1000x better.

The Acceptance Speeches

I'm not going to go through these one-by-one, but Matthew McConaughey, Lupita Nyong'o and Jared Leto all had phenomenal acceptance speeches. Inspirational, well-thought and not too cheesy. Well done, winners. Well done.

Such a fun night! What was your favorite moment from the Oscars?
