Treat Yo' Self: Cadillac Peach Margarita

I love a good margarita in just about any capacity, but nothing beats a real Cadillac margarita. The premium cocktail only uses top-shelf ingredients, and tastes just as classic and luxurious as the name implies.

For my recent 20-something birthday (amid somewhat of a quarter life crisis), I wanted to sip on something extra special and delicious to celebrate my golden birthday.

I decided to take the recipe for a Cadillac margarita and put a refreshing twist on it with the fruit of the season. Instead of regular orange liqueur, I used Grand Marnier Raspberry Peach liqueur. Orange liqueur is essential in making a truly delicious margarita, and the Grand Marnier Raspberry Peach packed the right amount of rich, fruity punch for this drink.

I mixed the drink with Casa Noble Anejo silver tequila (a USDA certified organic tequila), and fresh peach puree I made in my Nutribullet. It even came out a beautiful golden color!

Ingredients
  • 3 ounces premium silver tequila (I used Casa Noble Anejo)
  • 2 ounces Grand Marnier Raspberry Peach liqueur
  • 1 large yellow peach, pureed
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • A peach slice and lime slice for garnish (optional)
Directions

Rim your glass with sugar. Peel peach and puree in a small blender, or use store-bought peach nectar.

Pour tequila, Grand Marnier lime juice and peach puree in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into chilled margarita glass or mason jar.
