Celebrating Life's Little Accomplishments

Here are a few really creative and inexpensive ways to celebrate the everyday!

Care Packages

My friend recently ran her first marathon, but it was on the west coast and I could not manage to take the time off of work to go cheer her on. To let her know I was still thinking of her and to wish her good luck, I put together a care package of protein bars, funky water bottles, an 80s looking sweat band; things that would make her laugh. She was so surprised and really appreciated all the thought that went into it.

Cookie Greetings

Cheryl's has a line of amazing Cookie Greetings that come in these cute, colorful boxes. Not only are they a great surprise, they are only $5, including shipping! My brother recently landed his first big internship in law school so of course my first thought was to mail him another card, but this buttercream frosted cookie was the sweetest way to congratulate him!

eCards are a free and easy way to make someone smile. There are tons of websites to choose from, but if you are looking for some that are intensely sarcastic and mildly inappropriate, you should try SomeeCards.com. They even let you create your own!
