Champagne with Love Party Favor

Champagne’s not only for celebrating, but a bit of bubbly adds a touch of luxury as well!

Giving small bottles of champagne or sparkling wine as party favors is going to keep your guests in the celebratory mood even after they’ve left. Guests will love showing it off and might even reserve it for a bit of unexpected fun the next time you visit!

Wrap these splits up with a bit of ribbon and sparkle, and they’ll be even more treasured. For a simpler design, leave off the doily heart when you wrap these beauties up.

Supplies
  • Champagne Split (small bottles of champagne or sparkling wine)
  • Clear cellophane
  • Rubber band
  • 7 inches of red ribbon
  • 6-inch doily
  • 1 sheet White cardstock
  • 1 sheet Red cardstock
  • Heart shaped scrapbook punch
Directions

Step 1: Every champagne split bottle at the store will be a slightly different size. You’ll want to adjust the size of your cellophane square accordingly. Place the bottle in where you think the center of your square is and pull the corners up to where they reach an inch or two over top of your bottle. Use the rubber band to keep the edges together and up around the bottle. Tie your length of ribbon around the neck of the bottle.

Step 2: For the lacy paper heart detail, accordion fold the doily then fold in half so it makes a heart shape. Glue the doily together in the middle so it retains its shape. Punch a heart from your white cardstock and glue to the doily heart.

Step 3: Cut a 2.5x8.5 inch strip of white cardstock. Use the heart shaped scrapbook punch to punch a heart in the center of the white cardstock strip. Cut a small square of red paper slightly larger than your heart punch and tape in place so the entire heart opening is covered.

Step 4: Turn the paper over and wrap around the champagne bottle. You can either use a really strong tape, or a line of hot glue to get it to stick.
