Mini Comfort Foods for a Bridal Shower

Food is an important element in any party, but for bridal showers, where much of the celebration takes place around the table, it's really essential! Dress up your food spread with these adorable mini comfort foods to really wow guests.

I love to dress my menu up and make it part of the decor. For this bridal shower I served classic comfort foods in mini portion sizes, which was functional, but also added a stylish touch to the space. Plus, the novelty of the mini portions adds an extra element of style to the experience.

Mini Burgers are served on tiny party rolls, which gives this hearty bite a dainty appeal. Insert a DIY pick into the top to hold them together and adorn each pick with a paper heart to make a pretty presentation for less!

These burger recipes are a few of our favorites - and they taste great in mini form!

Paper cones make serving any food easier, but they're really great for salty french fries! Simply roll up small squares of scrapbook paper into a cone and secure with tape.

Tomato soup "shots" are a super idea! It's a classic comfort food that tastes even better in smaller portions. Use glass votive holders to hold the soup, and serve them up at the last minute so they're warm.

Grilled cheese sandwiches go hand in hand with tomato soup. Cut your grilled cheese sandwiches into mini triangles, these fit nicely on top of the soup glasses and look great, too!

Homemade tomato soup shooters with grilled cheese garnishes are easy to make!

Mini pies are the latest dessert craze, so skip the cupcakes this time around and serve the ultimate dessert comfort food instead. A few homemade versions for your guests will go a long way!

Use refrigerator pie dough and cut it into circles using a biscuit cutter or the rim of a glass. Press them down into a mini muffin tin and fill with your favorite pie filling. Cook according to directions, adjusting time to accommodate the smaller sizes. If crust begins to brown too soon, just cover it with aluminum foil and continue baking until filling is done.

Mini milkshakes are served up in shot glasses, with a straw cut down to size. These are easy to make simply by letting ice cream melt to a semi-soft state. Top off with mini scoops of firm ice cream.

Go crazy with flavor combos - we have a few milkshake mixes we love!

Our classic meal wouldn't be complete without some soda to wash it down. Look for single serving bottles of soda and serve them from a vintage soda crate for a more old fashioned look!
