Introducing: The Biggest Thing (In Sugary Goodness News) Since the Cronut

Peanut butter and jelly, French fries and ketchup, and chocolate chip cookies and milk -- some famous food pairs just belong together, and should live happily ever after as one.

As for milk and cookies, that's one perfect pair that will always and forever be near and dear to my heart. Cookies are wonderful just the way they are, but dunk them in a glass of ice cold milk and they immediately become 1,000 times better.

Which is why NYC pastry chef Dominique Ansel is a genius. The mastermind behind the outrageously famous Cronut (there are still 5-hour waits for his decadent treat every day in New York) has invented a whole new combo of sugary goodness.

He has created the Chocolate Chip Cookie Milk Shots, and it's exactly how it sounds. Shot glasses made from homemade chocolate chip cookies. Cookie shots glasses are filled with whole milk, so you're supposed to shoot the milk like you would a shot of whiskey, and then eat the cookie. Those are seriously all of my favorite things at one time (shots, cookies, milk, eating sugary treats faster than normal).

The new treat will be revealed at this year's SXSW festival in Austin, where he debuted the Cronut last year.

As I type this, I'm trying to figure out a way to make them myself. Although Dominique Ansel is the expert here, not me. I'm sure mine would end up looking something like this gem from Instructables:

Nailed it.
