We’re only a little ways away from December, which means the Christmas countdown is about to begin! There are so many wonderful ways to get into the spirit of the season from decorating cookies to decorating wit holly! Instead of anxiously waiting for December 25 th to arrive, relax and enjoy those other 24 days! If you need to keep your hands busy then try working on a different craft each day. From DIY advent calendars to hot coco concoctions, there are so many different ways to enjoy the countdown to Christmas.
Create your own Advent Calendar
Instead of counting down the days on your fingers, create this DIY advent calendar to mark the sleeps until Santa comes. Create little gift baskets and give your child one per day so he or she gets excited for Christmas. As for the adults, you can label your presents and stack each one until you get to 24. Everyone will love the excitement and that it was made from the heart.
Get creative and design your own Christmas stockings. Make each one unique by adding the person’s initials to the top and mixing and matching the colors. These are great gifts to bring to a Christmas party or just to hand out to friends. Making these stockings will get anyone excited about the arrival of Christmas!
