Add a Touch of Glam to Your NYE Celebration with These Simple Ideas

Guests may come for the countdown, but they stay for the party! Take your NYE shindig to the next level with these creative yet simple ideas that are sure to add a touch of glam to your New Year's Eve soiree.

As the clock strikes midnight, we say farewell to another year of memorable nights, wow-worthy parties, and life changing events. Make the last memories of 2013 an affair to remember with a few simple yet creative touches that are sure to keep the party going on and on.

Wow With Edible Glitter

A sprinkle of edible glitter can turn any food or drink into a celebratory treat perfect for ringing in the new year. Rim your champagne flutes with this sparkly detail to turn your ole glass of bubbly into the perfect countdown cocktail. You can also sprinkle a dash onto any baked goods (homemade or store bought, we won't tell) to add some dazzle to your food spread.

Sweeten the Evening with a Dessert Bar

Rather than simply serving dessert once the main course is over, why not set up a separate dessert bar so guests can munch on sweet treats throughout the evening! This eliminates extra prep and serving work for you, as you can prepare the bar before the party starts and spend that extra time schmoozing and boozing. Alongside your dessert covered in edible glitter, add festive touches like bowls filled with chocolate kisses - the silver and gold foil is an easy way to make the spread really pop!

Keep the Party Pumping with a Coffee Bar

Let’s face it, we’re not 16 anymore. The days of 48 hours of no sleep doesn’t come quite as easily, and lasting past 2 a.m is more of a chore than a treat. Keep the festivities going and give your guests that extra boost they need by setting up a coffee bar! Alternatively, a coffee bar would be a great idea to treat any guests that may be staying the night. Be sure to provide all necessary additions and tools you may need such as milk, creamer, sugar, sweetener, and mixing spoons.

You can even purchase reusable coffee cups and adorn them with a festive tag that guests can take home as party favors - a great way to kick off 2014.
