DIY Rustic 'Just Because' Card

You don't need a special holiday or occasion to tell your loved ones that you are thinking of them. We love to celebrate the little moments in every day. Whether it's buying your friend a cup of coffee or shooting your brother a quick e-mail there are so many ways every day to stay connected with friends and family.

DIY Rustic Just Because Card

Why not take a few minutes to make your loved one a special handmade card? We crafted up this adorably sweet rustic card that says "I love you" in style! As a base for the card, we used plantable paper. Plantable paper has a very earthy feel and stands true to it's name because it can be replanted! We love that you can actually see the seeds within the paper, giving it a natural and down-to earth vibe.

We used muted colors found in nature and layered monochromatic yellows to create this sweet and country-inspired card.

1 Piece of plantable paper

3 complementary colored scrapbook paper sheets

Step 6: If you want to add extra detail, add a couple small hearts to the back of your card. You can even write "made with love" above your hearts.

We love that this card is a little present in itself. By using the ribbon to tie the card shut, it creates the feel of opening a present. What amazing presentation for your recipient!

Enjoy crafting up this cute card for your loved one!
