DIY Snowman Paper Craft

Make this DIY snowman paper craft for an easy winter craft idea using just glue and a scrapbook.

You don’t have to wait for a snow day to build a snowman! Get out the glue and scrapbook paper, we’re making a snowman!

This version of Frosty won’t melt and it's also a fun and easy holiday paper craft that kids of all ages can help with. For the younger children, cut everything out and have them glue everything together. The older children can help with the cutting. Attach your snowman to a piece of string or jute and use as a holiday gift tag or ornament.

We're making these snowmen tags for holiday gifts, but it's a seasonal craft idea you can use for any present you give this winter. And don't fret! Even if you're not giving it as a gift, you can make a larger one of these snowmen with the kids as a fun winter decoration for the house.

White Cardstock

Orange Cardstock

Mini Black Pom Poms

Red Ric Rac

2 inch Circle Punch

Small Googly Eyes

Craft Glue

Jute or String

Step 1: Punch out four 2-inch white circles. Glue 3 of these circles together to look like a snowman.

Step 2: Glue mini black pom poms, an orange triangle and googly eyes on the first circle to look like a snowman face.

Step 3: Remember that fourth white circle? Use it to sandwich a piece of jute or string between it and one of the other white 2-inch circles that make up your snowman. Do this in the back of the snowman. We recommend the top circle.

Step 4: Glue a piece of red ric rac around the neck of the snowman to look like a scarf.

Step 5: Tie to a gift and write the receivers name on the snowman’s body.

If making this a decoration instead, cut your snowmen shapes larger and make sure the adornments are just as proportional!
