Make This Beautiful Tiered Serving Tray Using Serving Pieces You Already Have

Displaying and serving all of your delicious holiday treats can be a real bummer if you don't have enough bowls, trays or serving ware. Plus, lack of space can also be a big factor. Luckily, this quick DIY Tiered Serving Tray solves both of those problems at once; creating a beautiful "new" piece to serve all of your favorite treats all in one place!

Tiered cake stands and trays are a chic and functional way to serve holiday guests all of your homemade (and store-bought) cookies, candies, sweets snacks and more. Unfortunately, the nicer pieces can really cost you some big bucks.

To save some money and space, I created this beautiful serving tray with items I arleady had at my disposal. Can you believe this is made with a nice tray, thrifted bowls and vintage champagne coupes?

I started with a silver serving tray as the base, and placed a smaller bowl inside the tray. To create the first layer, I added a sturdy champagne coupe inside the bowl. On top of the coupe, I added another bowl. Inside that bowl, I placed another coupe for the top tier. Voila!

You could also achieve the same idea using basic white bowls or wishes with water or wine glasses. The trick is just to layer and build up! Also be sure that your glasses and dishes are sturdy enough to be layered with. You want to be sure that a large breeze (or a clumsy friend) won't be enough to completely topple the whole thing.

Serve your favorite holiday treats in your new tiered stand! I set out the delicious cookies and treats from my Cheryl's Holiday Minis Gift Tin and Pecan Butternut Balls Tin so guests could see everything displayed, and easily take one (or two). The silver on the stand looks so nice next to the silver box too, don't you think?
