How a Dying Man Made His Girlfriend's Dream Come True

When Chris Price found out his cancer had returned, and was given only 6 months to live, he wasn't worried about crossing off his own bucket list -- he was more concerned with making his girlfriend Ceri's dreams come true.

Chris was diagnosed with liver and lung cancer in April 2013, after previously battling esophageal cancer. The 26-year-old was given just six months to live, and immediately thought about what little time he had left with his girlfriend Ceri. So he wasted no time, and popped the question to his 29-year-old love.

The couple got married in August 2013, and went to Disneyland Paris soon after with Ceri's four kids.

"We packed so much into the short time we had together," Ceri told Wales Online. Chris tragically died in January of this year, but his memory -- and the way he selflessly made sure Ceri's dream of having a wedding came true -- will live on forever.

"If my love could have saved him, he would have lived forever," Ceri told Wales Online. "His illness made him live completely in the moment and he taught me to do the same."

What a strong and courageous couple. We're celebrating these brave souls who teach us to always live in the moment, and not waste any of this time we are given.
